Shrewsbury – Full Time Nanny (33.5 hours/week, 4 day schedule) – Early 2025 Start

A lovely family in Shrewsbury is searching for an experienced, empathetic nanny to begin in early 2025. This role will begin with the family’s sweet, giggly 1 year old, then will expand to include a newborn who will be arriving in March!

The schedule for this position is M 7:30am-4pm, Tu/Th 8am-4pm, and W 8am-5pm for a guarantee of 33.5 hours/week. The new baby will have some medical challenges that necessitate a post-birth surgery and time in the hospital, so this child-focused role will have the goal of providing stability, warmth, and compassion to the toddler as he adjusts to “big brother status”. Their neighborhood has lots of children close in age which will allow for many impromptu playdates and a ton of outdoor fun. Specific duties include providing developmentally appropriate activities, adhering to a healthy, consistent schedule, serving parent-prepared meals, putting away toys after use, and if time allows, the occasional load of children’s laundry.

All candidates must be comfortable collaborating with mom as they learn about the newborn’s additional needs, allowing for each child to thrive in a safe, loving environment. Once things are settled, this position will shift to independent care as mom returns to the workforce. Diligent hygiene practices, modeling a healthy lifestyle, and being fully vaccinated are required.
