Newton – Full Time Nanny/Household Manager (34-38 hours/week) – Flexible Start

A bustling family in Newton is seeking a reliable nanny/household manager to begin as soon as the right match is found! You’ll work with three children, ages 6.5, 4.5, and 2, who attend school until the mid-afternoon and early afternoon, respectively. The family hopes to build a great relationship with the person they hire and foster a wonderful long-term relationship!

The schedule for this position is Tu 7:30am-6:30pm and W-F 7:30am-3:30pm for a guarantee of 34 hours/week. A guarantee of up to 38 hours/week is possible with the addition of another later afternoon shift. Childcare duties include occasionally handling school pick up, drop off, and transportation to/from activities, getting the children ready for school, breakfast clean up, and engaging the children in fun, age-appropriate and educational activities. Household duties include family meal preparation 3-4x/week, making sure healthy snacks are readily available, loading/unloading the dishwasher, household  laundry and linens, making the children’s beds, errands as needed, ensuring household items are organized and fully stocked, organizational projects, overseeing household repairs, and general tidying throughout the day.

Dependability is crucial in this role, so candidates who are warm, calm, kind, efficient, and can always be counted on are perfect matches! Jumping in wherever needed to help this busy household run smoothly is a big piece of success in this role. Candidates should feel comfortable setting consistent boundaries, fostering independence, and encouraging good manners. Candidates who are bilingual, ideally in Russian or Hebrew, would be given top priority, though this is not a requirement. Being organized and safety-conscious are also important! Candidates must be fully vaccinated.
