[CLOSED] Newton – Full Time Housekeeper (45 hours/week) – ASAP Start (flexible)

Additional Information:

An experienced, detail-oriented housekeeper is needed for a Newton family beginning ASAP (flexible for the right match)! You’ll work for a family of 6 (2 adults, 4 school-aged children) who have one friendly, well trained dog, and occupy a 11,000 sq ft home with 7 bedrooms/9 bathrooms.

The base schedule for this position is M-F 8am-5pm for a guarantee of 45 hours/week. Duties include full deep cleaning of the entire home, supporting the day to day lives of the family, maintenance of all common spaces, bedrooms, and bathrooms, making beds daily, changing sheets weekly, maintaining a consistent flow of laundry processes to ensure the availability of clean clothing and linens, and interacting with and overseeing contractors or vendors (mobile pet grooming, landscapers, etc.) when needed. Receiving deliveries, breaking down boxes, trash/recycling management, preparing for guests/events, and potential light family errands are requested.

Prior experience working in private residences in a comparable role and a high degree of emotional intelligence are required. A proven track record of reliability, strong professional boundaries, an aura of kindness, and good common sense are also musts. Compensation is negotiable based on experience.
