Boston (Jamaica Plain) – Part Time Nanny/Household Manager (30 hours/week) – January 6th Start

A warm, friendly family located in beautiful Jamaica Plain is searching for a part time nanny/household manager to begin on January 6th! There is a few days of flexibility with the start date if necessary. Care will be for their 10 and 7 year old children.

The schedule for this position is M-Th 1pm-7pm and F 11am-5pm for a guarantee of 30 hours/week. Each day will begin with household duties, including weekly family meal planning and preparation (M-Th), grocery shopping for ingredients and other items, family errands, loading/unloading the dishwasher, keeping the kitchen tidy, keeping household items stocked, household laundry, and miscellaneous household organizational tasks (including things like reordering children’s closets). Childcare duties include school pick up and facilitating the afterschool routine, transportation to activities, homework supervision, keeping the children on task, and helping to set them up for success the following day by packing their backpacks.

As driving is an important component of this role, candidates must be comfortable driving locally in Jamaica Plain and in areas of Boston that are more congested. Candidates must be fully vaccinated.
