Winchester – Full Time Nanny (45 hours/week) – Late May/Early June Start

A wonderful Winchester family is searching for an experienced nanny to begin in late May/early June. They have 3 children, ages 9, 7, and 1.5. The oldest two children attend school during the day, so primary care will be for the youngest, who is a curious and active little guy.

Exact start/end times can be determined based on candidate preference, but this position guarantees 45 hours/week scheduled between 7am-5:30pm, Monday through Friday. The ability to work up to 50 hours on occasion is required. The schedule will be determined at hire and stay consistent throughout the term of the agreement. This child-centric role includes providing breakfast for the children, walking the older boys to school, breakfast clean up, planning developmentally appropriate activities that foster creativity and curiosity, going on daily strolls, adventures, and outings, and spending time outdoors with neighborhood friends each day. Additional duties include children’s meal preparation, keeping the children’s rooms clean and organized, picking up grocery orders, household/family laundry, running the dishwasher, sweeping up after meal time, and school pickups for the older children each afternoon. Once they are picked up, the rest of the day will typically consist of afterschool activities, car pools, and playdates, as well as homework supervision and making sure they’re well prepared and on time for activities.

The family is excited to meet candidates who are enthusiastic, have a marked passion for working with children, and able to manage three active boys successfully. Communication is also important in this role, which should lead into building relationships with other nannies and families in the neighborhood.
