Newton Centre – Full Time Nanny (30, then 40 hours/week) – ASAP Start

New parents in Newton Centre are searching for an experienced full time nanny to begin as soon as the right match is found! Their 6 month old is easygoing, happy, and does great on a schedule.

The initial schedule for this position is M/W/F 8am-6pm for a guarantee of 30 hours/week. As of March, this will increase to 40 hours/week, with shifts scheduled between 8am and 6pm based on mom’s work schedule. Duties of this role include all aspects of infant care, adhering to his daily schedule, planning developmentally appropriate activities, spending lots of time reading, getting daily outdoor time, bottle preparation and sterilization, safe handling of breast milk, baking fruits and vegetables to make purees, assisting with the transition to solids, baby laundry, emptying the dishwasher on occasion, keeping the nursery well stocked, and general tidying throughout the day.

Extensive experience working with infants is required. Ideal matches for this family are trustworthy, engaging, patient, and creative. The family is excited to meet candidates who are naturally full of joy, knowledgeable about infant development, and enjoy a mostly home-based role. Candidates must be fully vaccinated.
