Boston/Marblehead – Part Time Property Manager/Household Assistant (20-25 hours/week) – September Start (flexible)

A professional couple with properties in the South End of Boston and in Marblehead is searching for a property manager/household assistant to begin in September! The start date is flexible. They have 2 sweet dogs that join them at both locations.

The schedule for  this position is 20 hours per week spread over 3-5 days between 9am and 5pm (such as M-F 9am-1pm, or 3 non-consecutive full days of 9am-3/4pm). Some weeks may offer up to 25 hours if candidate is available. Tasks include daily tidying/maintenance of the home and grounds, managing housekeeping and landscaping professionals for both properties, scheduling and overseeing vendors for home maintenance/repairs, inventory management and household errands, daily light cleaning, laundry for two adults (including ironing), and managing care/appointments for two small dogs. Meal preparation is optional if the candidate enjoys cooking. As needed organization projects will be requested to maintain a meticulous, efficient home, in addition to some travel planning and preparing the homes for guests.

Ideal candidates are highly organized with strong interpersonal and executive functioning skills. The ability to commute to both properties is required, with a majority of support being at the Boston residence during non-summer months. Commuting by T is preferred in Boston, but a client vehicle may be available for work use, including driving to/from the Marblehead property. Those with an engaging, yet non-intrusive presence and calm demeanor are best suited for this household.
